The main part of the process takes place in a single appointment, with just four strategically-placed dental implants acting as roots, with bespoke, laboratory-made teeth firmly attached.

All-on-4 is a dental implant technique where the upper or lower set of teeth are replaced with just four implants. These act as a support mechanism for the placement of a new set of fixed teeth.
The implants are angled towards the rear of the mouth in a region of the jaw with higher bone density. This means that, compared to other implant methods, the All On 4 technique doesn’t require the same density of bone in order to secure the implant and limits the need for bone grafting.
A fixed bridge is securely attached to the implants, for a strong, stable and beautiful new smile.
One of the main differences between All-on-4 and traditional treatments is the number of implants required. As the name suggests, All-on-4 uses only four implants per dental arch to securely support a full arch of teeth. The procedure is partly designed to avoid the need for bone grafting in most patients too, speeding up treatment and healing time.
Our gentle dental team is here to take good care of you throughout the process. We’ll use a local anaesthetic so you shouldn’t feel anything during the procedure and can help with safe sedation and relaxation techniques for particularly nervous patients. You may experience some slight discomfort as the anaesthetic wears off after the treatment and this can usually be managed with over-the-counter painkillers.
